More than a celebration.

A beginning.

The feeling starts long before the day does.

Our Story

EE Special Events didn't begin as a company.

It began as two people learning how to build things together.

From the start, we noticed moments differently. Ezra listened for movement — how energy rises, settles, and carries people with it. Emily noticed the details that make a space feel complete and welcoming. Over time, these instincts began to synchronize.

As our marriage grew, so did our work. We learned that small adjustments change everything, that timing matters, and that when something is carefully shaped behind the scenes, it feels effortless to the people inside it.

This understanding naturally found its way into weddings.

We don't see a wedding day as a collection of parts, but as the beginning of a shared life. Really, the wedding day is an early moment in a much longer story. So we approach it with the same care we've learned in our own: intentional, steady, and centered on the people at the heart of it.

EE Special Events grew from this perspective.

We are two people continuing to refine our craft while helping other couples step into the start of theirs.

Our Story Emily and Ezra

Who We Are

A wedding lasts a day. A marriage lasts a lifetime.

Somewhere between planning and celebrating, it's easy for the day to become about managing details instead of experiencing meaning. But when the moment finally arrives, when you see each other and everyone you love is gathered in one place, the importance of it becomes very simple again.

You're promising a life together.

Everything surrounding that moment should support it, not distract from it. The atmosphere, the pacing, the energy of the room; all of it should create space for you to be fully present with each other and with the people who came to witness it.

This belief shapes how we approach every wedding.

Because long after the day passes, what remains is how it felt to begin.

Meet Ezra

Emily focuses on the experience as a whole - how guests move through a space, how details influence comfort, and how a celebration feels from beginning to end.

She notices what people need before they ask, creating an atmosphere that feels welcoming, thoughtful, and effortless.

Ezra approaches a wedding the way a musician approaches a piece of music - with attention to timing, dynamics, and movement. He reads the room naturally so each part of the event flows into the next without feeling directed.

His focus is guiding the energy so the day feels natural, never forced.

Experience You Can Feel

Over the years, we've been invited into hundreds of celebrations; Each one different, each one a privilege to be part of.

Experience has taught us how to listen before we lead.

When to guide the energy and when to let it breathe.

How to read a room without interrupting it.

Couples and planners trust us because they know we will care for the day the way they would.

This trust is something we hold carefully.
